Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Last updated: September 2026
We understand that holiday plans can sometimes change. Pilates Peaks is a mobile service and each session time is reserved specifically for you and your group. The following cancellation and rescheduling terms therefore apply.
One-Off and Private Sessions
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund or may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session are non-refundable.
Where possible, Pilates Peaks will try to offer an alternative session time, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Bookings made within 48 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable once confirmed.
3-Day and 5-Day Packages
Packages reserve multiple sessions within the Pilates Peaks diary and are therefore subject to a longer cancellation period.
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the first scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made between 72 hours and 7 days before the first scheduled session are eligible for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the first scheduled session are non-refundable.
Once a package has started, sessions which are not used by the customer are non-refundable.
Requests to change the date or time of an individual session within a package should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Changes are subject to availability and will normally need to take place during the original booking period.
The cancellation charges above reflect the time reserved exclusively for the booking and the reduced opportunity to accept another booking at short notice.
Group and Chalet Bookings
Group and chalet sessions are charged for the reserved session rather than according to the final number of participants.
If fewer guests participate than originally expected, the booking price remains unchanged.
A participant may be substituted where necessary, provided the replacement participant can safely take part in the session.
Late Arrivals and No-Shows
If you or your group are not ready at the agreed start time, the session may need to be shortened so that later bookings are not affected.
A late arrival does not entitle the customer to an extension of the session or a partial refund.
No-shows are charged at the full booking price and are non-refundable.
Weather, Travel and Changes to Holiday Plans
Travel delays, flight disruption, changes of accommodation, ski conditions, lift closures or changes to personal holiday plans do not automatically give rise to a refund. The normal cancellation terms above will apply.
Where severe weather, road closures or unsafe travelling conditions prevent Pilates Peaks from safely reaching your accommodation, we will first try to rearrange the affected session.
If the session cannot reasonably be rearranged, the amount paid for that affected session will be refunded.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights which you may have where the circumstances legally constitute force majeure under French law.
Illness or Injury
If illness or injury prevents you from attending a session, please contact Pilates Peaks as soon as possible.
The normal cancellation terms apply. However, where reasonably possible, Pilates Peaks may offer an alternative session or credit in exceptional circumstances.
This does not affect any mandatory rights available to the customer under French law.
If Pilates Peaks Is Unable to Provide Your Session
Pilates Peaks does not reserve a general discretionary right to cancel confirmed bookings.
If Pilates Peaks is unable to provide a confirmed session because of instructor illness or injury, severe weather, road closures, safety concerns, force majeure or other circumstances making performance impossible or unsafe, we will first try to arrange a suitable alternative time.
If an alternative cannot reasonably be arranged, the amount paid for the affected session will be refunded.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any remedy or right that a customer is entitled to under mandatory French consumer law where Pilates Peaks fails to provide a contracted service.
Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Bookings with Pilates Peaks are for Pilates and leisure activities to be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
In accordance with Article L221-28(12) of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to many online purchases does not apply to leisure activities which are to be provided on a specific date or during a specified period.
Your cancellation rights are therefore governed by the cancellation terms set out above, without prejudice to any mandatory rights available under French law.
How to Cancel or Reschedule
Cancellation and rescheduling requests can be made by email to ContactPilatesPeaks@gmail.com or through any online cancellation facility made available by Pilates Peaks.
The relevant cancellation period is calculated from the time the cancellation request is received.
By completing a booking, you confirm that you have been given access to and accept this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy before payment.
